Portraits
Individual headshots, family, couples, motherhood and newborn baby shoots are very much different in terms of what it takes to create beautiful, timeless imagery. This reflects in pricing. As a reference, a one hour couples’ portrait session is £199, which includes 30-40, carefully edited digital images in an online gallery to choose from.

frequently asked questions
what types of photography do you do?
Family, newborn, motherhood portraits. Couples/engagement portraits.Branding and product photography for small businesses. Small number of weddings - new website is coming soon with details. Also offering web design, specialising setting up online booking systems, however this website is focusing on the photography business. Please get in touch for web design and branding packages.
Are deposits refundable?
Like most professional photographers, I take a deposit of 25% with each booking to provide a little security and peace of mind. This holds people accountable and shows them the value of my time. In case of emergency the session of course can be rescheduled. Cancelation with less than 24 hours’ notice causes me to lose valuable time that I could be handling other sessions. It doesn’t give enough time or find another client, so keeping the deposit in this situation is only understandable.
Do you include digital images?
Yes. Please get in touch to request the Investment Brochure for details - how many images come with certain sessions, what kind and how big the files are, etc.
When will the online gallery be available?
Within 3 weeks time of the shoot.
How much retouching do you do?
Every image you receive is individually edited for colour, contrast, exposure and style. Some images occasionally require a little more finessing for temporary things like blemishes and pimples, but things like heavy facial retouching, wrinkle removal or body reshaping are not included with my standard packages.
Do you instruct for posing? (I don't really like my photos taken)
Most of us aren’t models, so it’s no surprise that the vast majority of my clients tell me when we first meet that they’re awkward on camera or they never look good in photos. I use a simple technique called Beloved Moment Design which helps me to put everyone at ease and make them feel comfortable. Part of this is through my flexible, no stress and sometimes silly approach to direction, and part of this is through working with people that I connect with. Yes I absolutely provide direction wherever needed, but that doesn’t mean your photos are going to feel stiff or posed; Sometimes giving great direction means letting you know where to go, getting you to do something and so being able to capture a REAL moment. This is why I try to have a video chat with everyone who inquire, to give them a chance to see if I am that person for them, and vice versa..
What forms of payment do you accept?
Bank transfer or paying through my website (preferred) at the time of my booking or no later than a day before the shoot.
How do I book a shoot?

Am I allowed to print the photos that you deliver to me?
Yes, with no size or print restrictions either, no watermarks, no hassle.
What is your policy for rescheduling due to bad weather?
While I’ve shot in most type of bad weather, my personal preference is a warm, sunny day with glowing backlight, deep shadows and super warm tones. For this reason, I’m always willing to reschedule portrait sessions due to unideal weather.
Do I own the copyright to my photos once you deliver them to me?
YAs the content creator, under the copyright law I am the copyright owner of the images. However, you have the freedom to share, print, scrapbook, and use your images for personal use however you see fit. I do not watermark my images and you’re free to print them at your lab of choice if you decide not to use the professional print lab included with your online galleries.
Any general tips?
The best advice I can give you is to come with no specific expectations and just be your authentic self. During the booking process I will send you a guideline with practical hints and tips like how to choose your outfit or how to prepare a toddler for a photography session. In case of any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch, I want you to feel confident and excited about having your portraits taken.
